Part Time Lighting Engineer Vacancy

There currently exists one position for a part time lighting engineer.

Our Requirements:

Experience and qualifications are essential we are not looking to train anyone from scratch! A clean driving licence is also required, you must also live reasonably close to our base of operations in the midlands to be able to attend planning meetings/discussions and carry out maintenance/prep work on our equipment.  We would expect that you are PC literate have experience with rigging/de-rigging lighting equipment/truss structures and experience with modern moving head intelligent lighting, control desks, dimming and knowledge of power distribution etc. Knowledge of professional audio equipment would also be of an advantage but is not essential.

Candidates must be motivated, confident & polite when dealing with clients, used to working to tight time schedules in a high pressure environment and physically fit for what can be a demanding job.

Pay: Negotiable and dependent on experience, wages also need to fit within our current pricing policy.

We would expect that you would be a qualified sound/light engineer with experience, if you have no formal qualifications then we would expect that you are currently enrolled in a relevant education program and that you are well experienced.  You would also be expected to have a clean & full UK driving licence and you may be required to transport yourself to your place of work. We are based in Derby so if you live miles away its probably not going to be practical to work for us.
